Moller &#8211; Maersk acaba de lanzar su primer carguero que funciona con METANOL. Un alcohol l\u00edquido a temperatura ambiente que se almacena y quema en un motor de combusti\u00f3n.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Una tecnolog\u00eda de barco muy similar a los actuales s\u00f3lo que quema un combustible algo diferente.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>La innovaci\u00f3n viene por la forma de generar ese combustible, ya que el METANOL puede ser generado sin emitir CO2 (neto).<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Por un lado se puede producir partiendo de bio gas (de residuos) que se reforma y despu\u00e9s transforma en METANOL. Por lo que es entocnes un bio combustible con balance de carbono neto cero.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Este es el caso del que se habla en la noticia, el cual dicen supone 3X el precio del combustible normal de barcos. Si se repercute ese coste por los elementos que transporta el barco no necesariamente encarece mucho los productos finales pero si el precio de los fletes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Otra opci\u00f3n para generar el METANOL es mediante s\u00edntesis de hidr\u00f3geno verde con una fuente de CO2 capturada. De hecho ese es el tipo d proyecto que A.P. Moller &#8211; Maersk a anunciado en Espa\u00f1a (con 10.000 millones de euros de inversi\u00f3n, si no recuerdo mal). Aunque mucho me temo que los costes no seran mucho mejores.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Aqu\u00ed la pregunta es si estamos como sociedad dispuestos a sumir mayores costes en el transporte (3x) para un transporte m\u00e1s sostenible.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/maersk-group\/\">A.P. Moller &#8211; Maersk<\/a>\u00a0esta haciendo una apuesta valiente y puede ser un cambio de paradigma en el sector..
